  I work for a providers office and I've waited on hold for a hour and still have not been able to get ahold of anyone. When I finally got ahold of someone the call was disconnected. Very unprofessional

  This is not the Dougherty's, known for customer service and expertise of the past. It is apparently under new ownership. I went to pick up a prescription about a month ago. COVID-19 deaths were still extremely high and everyone in Preston Hollow was still wearing masks. Some of the pharmacists were not wearing masks, however, and they did not require a customer to wear one. Meanwhile, there were elderly people in line who were shocked at what was happening. I decided to leave and have my prescriptions transferred to CVS where I can use the drive-thru, not have to wait in a long line, and not have to deal with the large pharmacy guys with no masks.

  Great, family-oriented medical, generic and pharmacy-oriented store. They're always upgrading, they have quality staff, and care about their customers, coming to know each other by sight and name. I'd highly recommend. And did, I guess

  I give Daugherty a 3 overall. If you are lucky enough to find the perfect pharmacist at their store [Dawn}, you will be treated as valued customer. Yes, people come and go, but the constant level of some staff is extraordinary. Thank you Dawn, Bruce from the Campbell road store and Syed from the Preston Rd store. I would give the store 5 stars if these 3 were typical of all their staff. It all depends on who helps you.

  I have been getting prescriptions compounded at Dougherty's Pharmacy for over a decade. I've also purchased other products there including wrist braces, knee and Ankle supports. The store is attractive and well laid out and there's always someone there to answer a question. That being said I would say that they are a little bit more expensive than other pharmacies. And there have been quite a few times when my refills or prescriptions have fallen through the cracks. They don't automatically call the doctor if you need a refill or let you know that the doctor needs to be called if you need a refill consequently it sometimes takes longer than necessary to get a prescription filled.
